Apartament dwurodzinnyKarwno, a village located in Central Pomerania – Kashubia, founded around 1375, has a very rich and interesting history. The surrounding forests are a source of historical discoveries related to the beginnings of human settlements. Megalithic tombs dating back to 2500 BC are evidence of the historical presence of humans in this area.
The History Hall in Gałęzi Mała „Słupskie Elektrownie Wodne” is a unique exhibition of historical devices, photographs, and documents of the former hydrotechnics on the Słupsk water power plant route.
The surroundings of Karwno are covered with numerous moraine hills, among which the rivers Łupawa, Słupia, and Skatowa meander, characterized by a significant drop, creating excellent conditions for kayaking and fishing.
The rivers in the immediate vicinity are full of trout, grayling, and rare specimens of salmon, which are caught annually on January 1st, marking the opening of the fishing season for these beautiful fish.
The hilly terrain in the forest landscape now creates an attractive tourist trail intersected by cycling routes and educational paths, such as „Karwno’s Wilderness” and „The Trails of the Wild Łupawa.”
Our village is an excellent starting point for trips to the sea, to Ustka, Rowy, Łeba, and other places, for people who want to enjoy a seaside vacation. Guests who like to explore monuments and museums have unlimited opportunities for trips to Bytów, Słupsk, Gdańsk, and Malbork.
Home-cooked meals take into account the diets and preferences of our guests. The specialty of the house is „Kashubian Potato Babka” and „Roast.” We offer communal smoking of meats, sausages, and fish, using a traditional smoking method in a smokehouse designed by us, as well as communal singing by the bonfire while roasting sausages and enjoying local spirits. We strive to create a pleasant and cultured atmosphere, accompanied by prophecies and jokes in the Kashubian language. The vegetable and herb garden is an integral part of our home cooking. The large courtyard and surrounding greenery are a good place to relax for adults and children.
You can freely use the football, basketball, and badminton field. We offer swings for children. Bicycles are also available for use on-site.
Lake Karwno serves not only for fishing but is also a major tourist attraction due to its uniquely clean water, sandy bottom, and its location among forests, away from fields and holiday resorts.
Our pedagogical qualifications allow us to take care of children, organize their time, and take them to the swimming pool, among other activities.
