The inn was established in 2006 and is located on National Road No. 28, between Grybów (7km) and Nowy Sącz (13km), in the village of Ptaszkowa, at the foot of Mount Rosochatka. From the balconies of the inn, you can admire beautiful views of the Jaworza range and the Three Mounds – characteristic of the Beskid Niski mountains. In this place, one cannot overlook the tourist attractions of Ptaszkowa, where the inn is located. Ptaszkowa is one of the oldest villages in the Grybów Commune. Its origins date back to the 14th century.
While staying in the hotel rooms of „Zajazd u Krystyny,” you can spend your time enjoying numerous nature trails, extensive areas for mountain biking, and in winter, a ski lift and cross-country skiing trails. For guests with more ambitious goals, we recommend a trip to the summit of Jaworza, where an almost 30-meter observation tower with a viewing terrace was built, crowned with a cross, offering a beautiful view of the Grybów Commune panorama. Additionally, in Ptaszkowa, numerous festivals are held annually, and in winter, Spartakiads – competitions in cross-country skiing and downhill skiing in memory of Roman Stramka and Zbigniew Kmieć. Winter sports enthusiasts are recommended to try the 450-meter long, illuminated, groomed, and artificially snow-covered ski lift. It is worth noting that Ptaszkowa is the Municipal Center for Winter Sports.
In Ptaszkowa, you can find numerous examples of wooden architecture. One of them is the wooden church dedicated to All Saints from 1555, with a very rich interior. For many years, the church housed a bas-relief sculpture called „Prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane,” made by Veit Stoss. Currently, due to its historical, cultural, and material value, the bas-relief is located in the museum in Nowy Sącz.
