Uzdrowisko Wieniec-Zdrój„Uzdrowisko Wieniec” Sp. z o.o. is one of three health resorts in Kujawy, located about 6 km from Włocławek in the municipality of Brześć Kujawski. Wieniec-Zdrój is a forest resort with traditions dating back to 1923, an oasis of health and tranquility.
The extensive mass of pine forests surrounding the area, as well as the richness of the terrain in peat deposits and mineral water sources, contribute to the attractiveness of the area in terms of therapeutic purposes. The lowland climate is characterized by small temperature fluctuations and great tranquility.
The patient’s psychological regeneration in direct contact with the beauty of nature, as well as the influence of beneficial thermal, solar, chemical, and electrical stimuli, as well as the beneficial effects of therapeutic balneological treatments prepared using natural medicinal resources (peat, medicinal waters), are indicators of stay and treatment in our health resort.
In addition to the climate, the great asset of the health resort is the drinking cure with our medicinal water, recommended especially for gastrointestinal and metabolic diseases, as well as about 50 different treatments.
The treatments mainly utilize the properties of peat and medicinal waters (including sulfur), which come from our deposits, as well as other physical factors: heat, cold, light, currents, and massages. All treatments are carried out in a modern Natural Therapy Facility located in the Spa Park.
In our health resort, patients have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of how to prevent the progression of diseases and how to maintain physical fitness through lectures at the Health Education Clinic and consultations with a psychologist.
We specialize in the treatment of musculoskeletal and circulatory system diseases for adults, particularly rheumatic and orthopedic-traumatic conditions, circulatory system diseases with special emphasis on post-heart attack conditions, peripheral vascular diseases, and hypertension.
We also provide services in the field of care and support for the elderly within the Nursing and Care Facility. The health resort also carries out production activities: a bottling plant for mineral water called „SELENKA” Wieniec-Zdrój, which comes from our own sources and is most useful for people with hypertension and urinary tract disorders, and peat from our own deposits produced for our own needs and for sale.
In 2015, Uzdrowisko Wieniec-Zdrój completed the implementation of a new investment, which is a modern, high-standard guesthouse. It will significantly expand the range of services offered by the health resort to include recreational SPA activities and hotel accommodation, mainly aimed at commercial guests and tourists. The services will be enhanced by a swimming pool with a sauna complex (Finnish, infrared, caldarium), solarium, Kneipp path, and an ice cave. There are also facilities for biological renewal, a gym, fitness room, bowling alley, billiards, as well as a pharmacy, shop, hairdresser, and beautician. The facility is also adapted to the needs of people with disabilities and will have about 900 hotel rooms.
