Studzienice is a village located 12 km east of Bytów, next to Lake Kłączno. The first mentions of this place date back to 1313. In the 16th century, after the victory of the Reformation, Studzienice was the only Catholic village in the Bytów land. Despite the efforts of the local Kashubian population, this area did not become part of the reborn Poland after 1918. Instead, it began to emerge as a center of Polish culture in the Bytów region, along with its neighboring villages. Today, Studzienice is a well-known tourist destination with several holiday resorts. Visitors can admire the glacial erratic boulder called „Pod Zielonym Dworem,” which has a circumference of 15 meters. It is also worth visiting the nearby town of Bytów, known for its rich history and the Teutonic Castle, which houses an interesting museum. The surrounding area offers a peaceful and natural environment, perfect for those seeking relaxation and contact with nature. The forests and the lake are a paradise for mushroom pickers, anglers, and tourists who enjoy hiking, horse riding, and cycling trips.
