Piwniczna Zdrój is a spa town located in the Beskid Sądecki, in the beautiful Poprad Valley. The surrounding mineral springs with healing properties and unique microclimate are an attraction for tourists. Piwniczna is an excellent starting point for mountain trips (Radziejowa Range, Jaworzyna) as well as the Slovak Tatra Mountains. Numerous monuments (Orthodox architecture, Jewish cemetery, shrines) and the rich history of the region also contribute to the development of sightseeing tourism in the municipality. While in Piwniczna, it is worth taking part in a rafting trip through the Poprad Valley, visiting the Museum Chamber or the Old Piwniczna Cemetery.

The „SMREK” Medical-Recreation Center is beautifully situated among forests, in the Czercz stream valley, in Piwniczna Kosarzyska (3.5 km from the town center). The center offers medical treatments and biological regeneration. For the past 17 years, the center has specialized in organizing recreational and weight loss vacations called „Active Recreation”. OLW „Smrek” is a perfect place for holidays, recreational and weight loss stays, individual and group stays, integration meetings, and events on request, as well as biological and cosmetic treatments.

ACCOMMODATION:
The center has 102 beds, including:
– 14 places in studio-type rooms (2 + 2 or 2 + 1), consisting of 2 rooms and a bathroom, equipped with TV, telephone;
– 88 places in double rooms with bathrooms, TV, and telephone. All rooms are sunny (facing south) and have a balcony.
The center offers recreational and weight loss vacations, individual and group stays, integration meetings, and events on request.
