Leśniczówka BiebrzańskaBiebrza River originates south of Nowy Dwór, at the foot of the Sokólskie Hills. The mouth of the Biebrza is located near the village of Ruś. The river is approximately 165 km long (including 155 km within the Park) and covers a catchment area of 7051.2 km2.
The Biebrzańska Forester’s Lodge is located on the „Carska Szosa” in the village of Budy-Dobarz, in the heart of the Biebrzański National Park. Several hiking trails pass nearby, including the blue, red, and yellow trails, as well as cycling routes such as the green trail and the Podlaski Stork Trail. Educational paths such as the Honczarowska Embankment and the High Peatlands are also available, along with paths and trails around the Osowiec Fortress. Upon request, guests can enjoy kayaking trips, rent bicycles, or have a bonfire.
Our Forester’s Lodge dates back to the late 19th century and has been thoroughly renovated and adapted for agro-tourism purposes. Each room has a private bathroom with a shower and standard amenities such as beds, cabinets, a table, bedside lamps, a wardrobe, and chairs.
Upon request, we can provide homemade breakfasts and dinners. Our dishes are prepared according to old regional recipes using healthy, organic ingredients.
This is the perfect place for people seeking peace and tranquility and wanting to be in close contact with nature. From the room windows, you can often observe elk, cranes, or white-tailed eagles, and in winter, you may even hear wolves. The vast, pristine forests are a sanctuary for many animals and a paradise for mushroom pickers.
