Drewniany Domeczek„Drewniany Domeczek” is located in Huzelach – a peaceful village situated on the San River, about 1 km from the town of Lesko, known as the „Gateway to the Bieszczady Mountains”. It is the perfect place to relax and recharge your batteries, much needed in the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The river flows in front, and the forest rustles behind – in one word, IDYLLIC…
The location of „Drewniany Domeczek” makes it an attractive base for exploring the deeper parts of the Bieszczady Mountains. It is also a great place for fishing (regular fishing competitions are held here on the San River), and in winter it is a true paradise for skiers (with a wide range of ski lifts of varying difficulty).
As there are border crossings nearby in Krościenko (Polish-Ukrainian border crossing) and Radoszyce (Polish-Slovak border crossing), local travel agencies organize day trips to Lviv (sightseeing of the city’s monuments) or Miskolc (Hungarian thermal baths, wine tasting). It is also possible to visit nearby Medzilaborce (Slovakia), where fans of pop art will find a gallery of Andy Warhol’s works. A stay at „Drewniany Domeczek” can therefore be perfectly combined with a short trip abroad.
I offer a completely independent part of the house (separate entrance) consisting of a fully equipped kitchen open to the living room, where there is a traditional fireplace, 4 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms (one on the ground floor and one upstairs).
There are a total of 8 sleeping places available.
GROUND FLOOR: 3-person room (3 separate beds, each measuring 90 cm x 200 cm).
UPSTAIRS: 1-person room (bed measuring 90 cm x 200 cm), 2-person room (double bed measuring 140 cm x 200 cm), 2-person room (2 separate beds, each measuring 90 cm x 200 cm).
The offer is available all year round, as in addition to fireplace heating, „Drewniany Domeczek” is equipped with a gas heating system and solid insulation of external walls. Thanks to this, it is warm and cozy in winter, which I personally experienced last season.
There is also a covered gazebo with a barbecue area, a sunny terrace for sunbathing, and a large garden.
Upon prior arrangement, it is possible to purchase meals. It is also possible to order homemade bread or sweet pastries with seasonal fruits.
