Sarbinowo – located 7 km west of Mielno – has been a prominent tourist destination on the Polish coast for many years. The first mentions of the village date back to 1309. In the past, the village was situated 1.5 km away from the seaside. However, at the beginning of the 20th century, the relentless Baltic Sea started to encroach upon our settlement. In order to stop the elements, a kilometer-long stone-concrete protective wall was built along the beach in 1910. One of the tourist attractions in Sarbinowo is the church from 1856 with a tall octagonal tower, as well as a thatched-roof fisherman’s cottage from 1804. Today, Sarbinowo has 500 permanent residents. The welcoming resort primarily entices visitors with its natural environment. Come here if you are in need of clean air, water, and a beach. The sea breeze will envelop you with beneficial iodine, and the wind blowing from the pine-covered dunes will bring healing essential oils. The microclimate of Sarbinowo will heal your respiratory system, calm you down, and lower your blood pressure at any time of the year! Here, you can go fishing and collect mushrooms.
